The hospitality there was too good! too warm! They insisted to buy all meals, pay all bills...that stop us from buying more stuffs back as they want to pay for everythings...how can???!!!
I was wondering how come for all the meals they did not order rice but only 10-12 dishes plus 2 type of soups? Thought Chinese's main meal is rice? yesterday when i was sharing my China trip, a friend told me this-if we as guests order rice besides what they ordered, it simply means the host is not generous enough as the dishes they served on the table failed to satisfy the guests????
Thriftiness is no longer Chinese's attributes?
And eating rice has become a disgrace?
"Face" is paramount, and above all?
